MOVE 2023
June 12-16, 2023
What is CIY?
Christ in Youth is an organization that has been helping connect students to Jesus and to God’s greater purpose for their lives since 1968. For more than 50 years they have focused on presenting the Gospel in contemporary and culturally relevant ways. Once they have met Jesus, CIY then focuses on helping students become “Kingdom Workers”, challenging them to share the Gospel in the world around them through the way they live, the things they say, and the things they do.
What are the ages for CIY?
This year, we will be splitting Middle School and High School and sending them to 2 separate CIY events. This change will enable us to ensure students are hearing messages and content that are age appropriate, while also providing us a better opportunity to connect individually with each student throughout the week.
CIY MOVE is for students who are going into 9th grade through Graduating 12th grade students. This program is tailored specifically to the needs of those who are in High School.
Marlboro Christian Church will allow select adults to attend, they must be willing to serve, apply and be approved my MCC student ministry leadership.

If you have any questions, please contact Nick Hatch at 330-705-0101
We will have multiple fundraisers between now and Summer in order to decrease the final cost as much as possible. Your participation in these efforts will be essential to help us achieve our goal of making this both possible and affordable for every student who wishes to participate.
*Receipt of full scholarship is contingent on regular participation in the Summit by checking into and attending either Sunday School or the Summit Youth Groups no fewer than 10 times between Jan 1 and May 7. Students who do not attend 10 times will receive a prorated scholarship and will then be responsible for the remaining difference. Students who volunteer in other departments on Sunday mornings (toddler town, KidCity, or on the worship team) can turn those dates into Nick with a signature from the ministry leader in that department and count them toward their scholarship total.
